Founded in 2012 in Washington, D.C.’s historic H Street NE corridor, &pizza strives to become more than a pizza shop. Through dynamic flavor combinations, an unorthodox approach to apparel and partnerships, and a dedicated approach to providing every guest with a completely individualized experience, &pizza seeks to define trends, not follow them.
OBJECTIVE
&pizza is a DC-based business, and Dochter & Alexander has helped manage their rapid expansion. After opening in urban, downtown locations, &pizza was looking to expand elsewhere in DC and into the suburbs. We’ve been their partner in this expansion since 2017, helping them thrive in an extremely competitive fast-casual market to become a best-in-class brand.
STRATEGY
We took a creative, data-driven approach to identify new locations. &pizza prides itself as a fun, creative, customer-focused brand; every new space is uniquely designed to match the community. We analyze customer profiles, competitors, and &pizza’s existing network to find ideal locations, then pitch creative deals to landlords to secure maximum value for our clients.
RESULTS
Dochter & Alexander currently handles all of &pizza’s DC and Maryland business. We’ve helped them execute 10 new leases in the last two years alone and help them stay competitive with national brands.
