Elena Alexander is a Senior Advisor at Dochter & Alexander Retail Advisors, where she handles landlord representation across the firm's portfolio of retail assets in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia. She advises property owners on leasing strategy, merchandising, and asset positioning across the region's premier retail corridors, including Georgetown, downtown DC, Dupont Circle, and Bethesda.

Elena's work spans the full arc of a leasing assignment — from underwriting, market positioning and tenant identification through lease negotiation and execution. She approaches every assignment from her clients' perspective as owners, evaluating prospective tenancies on credit quality, lease structure, and long-term asset value.

When she's not working a deal, Elena is spending time with her husband, Zack, and her dog, Freddy - or on the Peloton, chasing her next PR.
